#PD8-4 Working Through Conflict
More often than not, people are challenged by their inability to resolve conflict in a healthy way. Many choose to avoid it, while others use confrontation as a means of navigating through conflict - a strategy that has other costs and creates an environment of intimidation.
Learning to thoughtfully discern the key issues, set emotions aside, and listen openly to others will provide individuals the opportunity to come to new and better solutions that may surpass any single idea. In this workshop, we will look closely at behaviors that keep us from having a healthy attitude about conflict, and help develop t
he skills that bring mutal resolve when conflicts exist.
#PLD 4-2 Civility in the Workplace
While a training program on workplace manners and courtesy may seem like overkill, the reality is, rudeness is an epidemic costing industry millions a year. Indeed, what society seems to be gaining in terms of both knowledge and technological advancement, it’s losing out on basic social behaviors, especially when conflict is unresolved in the workplace.
To address the growing problem of incivility in the work setting, this workshop introduces the concept of civility, its importance to organizations globally, and tips and techniques to create a more courteous work environment.
#TD8-1 Effective Team Dynamics
For most of us, teamwork is a part of everyday life. Whether it's at home, in the community, or at work, we are often expected to be a functional part of a performing team. Having a strong team will benefit the organization as a whole, and especially, the individual units.
The Effective Team Dynamicsworkshop explores the different aspects of a team, as well as ways that you can become a more effective team performer—building trust and confidence from others. You will be given the details and concepts of what makes a team synergize, the four phases of team development, and key factors which will transform your unit into a dynamic, highly effective team.
This workshop also includes a Team Assessment.
#PLD4-3 Mindful Behaviors and Communication: Anti-Harassment / Bullying in the Workplace
Bullying looks like two people in conflict, but appearances are deceiving. These are not two people with equal power who simply hold different positions on intellectual topics that can be resolved by meeting halfway. Bullying is violence unilaterally instigated by one side against the targeted person who is unable to respond with equal force / power. This course – Mindful Behaviors and Communications – addresses the importance of a respectful, harassment-free workplace as a business imperative, and will increase your awareness and knowledge of the legal issues regarding harassment. You will leave the session also understanding the role of management/human resources in addressing harassment, and with the ability to identify and avoid subtle harassment and bullying.
#LFD8-1 The Art and Science of One-to-One Training
This workshop is designed especially for supervisors and trainers, although when completed, anyone who may have to deliver One-to-One Training or On-the-Job training will be able to train others with confidence, using sound and tested principles and techniques of adult learning. As a participant, you will be able to systematically prepare to deliver One-to-One Training, structure your training to support effective learning, deliver training in ways that motivate learners, and devise an Action Plan to improve your training skills.Increasing Your Influence
#FD16-40 Train-the-Trainer Certification Course and Facilitator Skills Development (T3)
This program takes participants through all the “Tools of the Trade” content competencies plus public speaking and facilitating skills and one-to-one training techniques. Workshop is 2-5 days (with homework) depending upon needs and desired outcomes of the group.
#FD16-42 Train-the-Trainer Certification Course for Curriculum / Course Development: "Putting the Pieces Together"
